I am just breaking into the FFXIV roleplaying scene, but I'm an old school forum roleplayer at heart! I'm looking to roleplay with characters that are canon-based, whether that be WoLs, non-WoL OCs or NPC characters.I would love to develop a background for our characters as a base to interact from, or we can just start from our first meet and go from there.I love literary gothic and dark themes, but let's talk a while before we plan out any overt sexual scenes!

Fenis Radu

Ala Mhigan refugee bearing a duty to his sister

Viktorin Celain

Heretic mage harboring a perverse relic

Thibault Glaye

Ishgardian steward with an affinity for Sharlayan magic

Most of my roots are in solo writing, theater and improv, but I've enjoyed more than my fair share of rp in other fandoms. I enjoy immersive interaction just as much if not more than overarching plot lines.

Cassia Radu

Cassia is an Ala Mhigan refugee doing her best to survive with her brother, Fenis. The road to Ul'Dah proved nearly as traumatic as the event that led them away from their homeland, and many of the harms that her brother shielded her from by offering himself, she experiences through vivid waking dreams. When Fenis attracts the attention of Thancred while helping others to earn some coin for the two, he begins to notice that the Girl's episodes strongly resemble Minfilia's own experience with the echo...Cassia is a very shy girl with new people, most especially those donning heavy armor. Once she warms up, you will quickly find yourself buried under a rapid landslide of facts about Chocobo or gossip about the adults around her who mistake her quiet demeanor with sweetness.

You might enjoy roleplaying with Cassia if your character:

  • Is an Ala Mhigan

  • Works with (or takes advantage of the plight of) refugees

  • Is a member of the Scions

Fenis Radu

Fenis is an Ala Mhigan refugee doing his best to protect his sister, Cassia. The road to Ul'Dah proved nearly as rough as the slow death by a thousand cuts the Empire metted out on his village, and many of the harms that he's managed to shield Cassia from by offering himself, she still suffers through vivid waking dreams. When Fenis attracts the attention of Thancred while working guild tickets for coin, the Scion begins to notice that the boy's sister has episodes which strongly resemble Minfilia's own experience with the echo, and moves to induct them both so that she might better learn to control her gift.
Fenis' stoic exterior is more learned than innate, he's lived a hard life and been forced to grow beyond his years, but somewhere underneath this hard shell, he's fun-loving and goofy. Should someone be able to distract him from minding his sister's safety, he'd surely make a loyal friend.

You might enjoy roleplaying with Fenis if your character:

  • Is an Ala Mhigan

  • Works with (or takes advantage of the plight of) refugees

  • Is a member of the Scions

Koide Yumitori

Koide is a member of the Yumitori clan of Doma, a family who has served the Rijin family since before they ascended to the throne. When Lord Kaien fell in battle, her father sent her with the Doman refugees to find safety while he stayed to provide a measure of safety to the remaining members of the family. She has been taken under Yugiri's wing as a kind of younger sister, and keeps the shinobi's hands full taking advantage of her newfound freedom, a rare positive upside to the forcibly broken tether to Doman high society.Koide enjoys the attention of flirting, and will gladly consent to being wooed. However, she is very insistent on saving her chastity for a suitable, gentlemanly husband, for which she has very high standards.

You might enjoy roleplaying with Koide if your character:

  • Is a Doman refugee

  • Is a member of Doman high society or military

Linnet

Linnet is an enchanted doll given life with the trapped soul of a young dragon. She has few dreamlike memories of her time living as a granddaughter of Hraesvelgr. After only a few centuries of living peacefully in the Dravanian Forelands, her graceful demeanor attracted the attention of Viktorin, a well-connected mage living in Ishgard with a secret heretical obsession with dragons. He paid to have her slain, placing her soul in a crystalline 'heart' buried in the mechanism's chest. She spends her days entertaining Viktorin's whims, or being flaunted to his small cabal of like-minded dragon cultists. Were she or her master to be discovered by the authorities, she would be destroyed as an object of heresy.

You might enjoy roleplaying with Linnet if your character:

  • Is a heretic under Ishgardian Doctrine

  • Is a member of the temple knights charged with purging heretical artifacts

  • Is a dark knight or defender of the oppressed

  • Has an interest in unusual magical constructs

Viktorin Celain

A seasoned mage born under the strict hegemony of the Holy See, Viktorin has always shied from strict rules and divisive lines. Instead, it is his opinion that no thought should ever be caged by convention. Not even those considered most sacred by society.Driven by these personal values he thereby perverted the most sacred magics and prayers of his own people when he was inspired by the chance encounter with a young member of Hraesvelgar's gentle brood. Haunted by the thought of her, he developed a method by which a soul might be tied to a crystal chassis which he might use to commit an act of heresy so foul it would certainly upend the city were it brought to light. A method by which he breathed life into inanimate cloth and clay.Viktorin spends his days in cushioned hedonism, his unorthodox magic having long since afforded him the sort of wealth by which he might pursue such comforts. Any whims he might entertain which remain beyond his reach are quickly brought into it by his apprentices. Were his practices to be discovered by the authorities, his muse would be destroyed as an object of heresy and his sycophants put to the sword.

You might enjoy roleplaying with Viktorin if your character:

  • Is a heretic under Ishgardian Doctrine

  • Is a member of the temple knights charged with purging heretical artifacts

  • Is a mercenary willing to do anything for coin

  • Is a serving Dragoon in need of a regular hook-up for dragon blood

  • Is a hopeful excited to learn about transgressive technologies

  • Is a dark knight or a keeper of justice

Adenet Caulignont

Adenet is a member of the House of Caulignont. His family was tertiary, as his own father was the second son of his generation. After serving in his eldest uncle's household during his youth, however, he maintained a close relationship with the head of the family. This bond proved disastrous when the man was brought in in possession of instruments of heresy, leading all associates into a web of suspicion. Unlike many members of the family, Adenet and his father were spared, but both underwent days of torture. As his father was left infirm, and his uncle executed, he has taken up many of the day to day duties as head of the House, aided by his late uncle's retainer, Thibault.Adenet is avoided by most members of Ishgardian Society who remain in good standing. Despite this and all of his troubles, he maintains an outwardly positive demeanor with others, save his occasional temper. He enjoys flirting with women, though he insists it is his gentlemanly nature which never allows him to follow through, and is like to spend far more time in the friendly company of other men. He has a strong desire to become a dragoon and redeem his family's image in his own way.

You might enjoy roleplaying with Adenet if:

  • You are Ishgardian noble with a rebellious streak

  • Or, you are an Ishgardian noble who likes to engage in some peer-to-peer power plays

  • You are a serving Ishgardian Dragoon or hopeful

  • Really if you're Ishgardian. He's a social slut

  • If you're a man who can sniff out a gay from the largest walk in closets

Thibault Glaye

Born in Foundation to a man of questionable wealth, Thibault was rushed out of the house when he became too interested in his father's work and was fostered to an old friend, a man of means and the head of house Caulignont. There he apprenticed under the house Astralogian, a means for him to pursue a lifelong love affair with aetherology.A Remnant left over after the colony was abandoned by its people, he would have been content to remain indefinitely if duty had not come knocking under the yoke of his former master, forcing him to return home once more and look after the new heir to the family as he sees them out of the hole the previous head of house dug for them.Thibault is a mage of some 38 years. He has a wry sense of humor and a sardonic wit but he's gentle at heart with a soft spot for fine food, fine clothes, and fine books.
